Free Soil Health Workshop - Camilla Ga

Soil is at the bottom of the food chain, yet it is the cornerstone of life on earth. The more people we have on earth, the more important it becomes for us to understand, appreciate, and create healthy living soils.

Golden Triangle RC&D, through a cooperative agreement with NRCS, will be holding a free Soil Health Workshop on March 14th, 2019. Workshop hours will be 9am-3pm at C.M. Stripling Irrigation Research Park in Camilla, GA. The workshop will “Dig In” to soil types, erosion, high tunnel crops and many more topics. A complimentary lunch will be provided for those attending.

The Golden Triangle RC&D (Resource, Conservation, and Development) Council is a 501(c)(3) organization made up of action-oriented volunteers and local leaders who identify problems, develop strategies, and implement beneficial programs and projects in our member county area. The Golden Triangle RC&D Council is committed to natural resource conservation, community development, environmental protection, and cultural and historical preservation.  We focus on Land Conservation, Water Management, Community Development, and Land Management.  Golden Triangle RC&D collaborates with state, federal, and local agencies and organizations to accomplish our mission.  The Golden Triangle RC&D currently serves 14 member counties in the Southwest Georgia.
